A view of the front suspension.  The Elite featured four-wheel independent suspension with disc brakes all around.  The Series II suspension was considerably softer and rode higher than had the Series I.  Cast iron calipers also replaced the SI alloys.  Although a previous owner has obviously done some work here, I'll be replacing the front suspension with new Series I components.
